This is unbelievable. This motherboard has exactly everything I'm looking for. It supports AMD's 64 bit cpu. It has gigabit ethernet, along with a PCI Express 16 slot. Then to top it off, its less than 75 dollars. With upgrading potential at a fantastic price I dont know why anybody wouldn't want it. We have dropped our prices on select products even further.
Lately, I've been really playing a ton of retro games after building an arcade cabinet for myself and the kids. There's some old games I love to revisit and the cabinet really does a great job at bringing back that nostalgic feeling of going to the arcade. We're looking for new writers to join us!
I had a small dilemma. Even the latest BIOS update is already there. Works great. If you buy this board for the same reason, don't forget to get a 24 pin power supply, unless you have it already. Board comes with a nice, well written manual for those who need it, all the accessories, and overall, one really great product for its price.
Perfect for those who want to switch to PCI express, but don't want to upgrade the whole system. Overall Review: I was able to put together a complete working system from scratch within 1. Out of the box configuration is good, however auto search for drives is somewhat slower then I expected. Audio jack of the built-in sound only worked on one speaker - the other silent, but since I never use stock sound, no biggie for me, but raises concerns of overall quality.
Pros: I bought this mobo to build a low-power high-performance 2. It is an inexpensive socket mobo supporting my Turion 64 MT only 25 W! Pros: Small design gives room for hard drives. Installation is very simple and no hiccups for me. Great upgrade motherboard for socket Athlon64 users.
Cons: Small writing near connectors. The manual is somewhat spartan. As others have said, the mobo runs a little hot. It's likely that your video card will cover up a slot leaving only 2 PCI slots. The mobo can accept 20 or 24 pin ATX connectors.
